Delicious traditional Quebecois food. We love coming here for lunch, and all of the food is of good quality. A large fireplace at the center of the restaurant is a lovely touch.

From far the best breakfast place for the longest time. Been in business for ever and always pack no matter the time you go. Their homemade ham and sugar pie are to die for, a must. Their bacon is smoked and is delicious. Make sure you ask for their campagne bread and you’ve got to try their homemade strawberry jam, simply delicious. You may also enjoy their homemade dishes to go with their shop located in the main restaurant. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate are served while you’re waiting for your table. The huge fireplace located in the heart of the restaurant makes you want to hang out longer during those cold winter days. Decor reminds you of the old days and is typical of the region. They do not take any reservations, first arrived first served, be aware.

First time here recommended by a friend. Beautiful cabin like feel brunch place. Staff are beyond exceptional. Little bit of a wait but complimentary coffee is a sweet touch. Well worth it. Food is perfect!!

Arrive early as this place fills up in a hurry in the morning . Traditional breakfast awaits, with real maple syrup one the side. Kids love this place and always want to sit next to the centre fireplace. A definite recommend.

Like a year-round cabane à sucre! Staff are super-friendly, service is efficient, and there is coffee and hot chocolate while you wait for your table. Note that the wait is not very long, in any case, and they sell their own and local products for you to peruse while waiting. Can't wait to go back!

Very cozy all day breakfast place. The cured ham was really good and the other breakfast meals were hearty. They provide a hot cup of chocolate while waiting for your turn to be sitted. 30-45min wait on a Sunday noon

I have heard tales of a little gem of a restaurant from up north called le Petit Poucet, where traditional French Canadian fare would be served along with a dash of Québecois bon vivant spirit. The menu did not disappoint and my plate of pig feet and meatballs ragu satisfied me to the core. The dish was as warm and welcoming as the service and I left with a full stomach and a burning desire to return home next to my fireplace and pass out in a food coma.

Very nice restaurant for breakfast. A little on the pricey side ($50 for 2, including the tip) but the food was tasty. The restaurant is made from logs of wood, giving it a nice look.

Amazing! What a great spot for a hearty french Canadian breakfast. The beans and country toast were delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable with the large fireplace in the middle. Be prepared for a line up and a wait any day of the week.

Excellent service! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful! The food is served in amazing sized portions. Everything was excellent. Loved the jam and maple pie. Great ambiance! Real log cabin lumberjack feel. Highly recommended!

My very favorite breakfast & lunch restaurant spot in all of the Laurentiens. I've been going since I'm a child with my late parents. Haven't had a bad meal yet. I've brought up so many friends over the past years, non were disappointed. Excellent food & always excellent & friendly service.
